This should be a very interesting year. New political leadership; markets in turmoil, etc.
What is exciting for me however is that we have added an important new addition to our company: my father, Chuck Sigerson. Dad officially retired from State Farm at the end of 2008. He owned his own agency for more than 30 years and is now a consultant to our company and the VP of client development. He will be splitting his time talking to members of our community about what our company does, from estate planning and wealth protection to business set-ups and business succession strategies, and to his duties as a member of the Omaha City Council. He is up for re-election in the Spring.
We also will be rolling out our education and maintenance plan here in the Winter. We are excited about continuing to provide a "experience you cannot get anywhere else."
Finally, next month we complete the adoption process for our youngest son (the one in the picture). More on that later.
